This has been an interesting year for me and for my business. Ideas I had for focusing my business didn't quite work out. I launched a second website (jenniferraschig.com) and separate social media platforms for that site to talk about all of my creative ventures that are separate from my organizing business.
In some ways, that felt like starting over. And I have to say, I wasn't (and still am not) very good at keeping up with the "alternate ego." I launched that site in conjunction with the release of my newest book, Succeeding Without Leading. With so many other things going on, the website and book launch didn't exactly take-off. So, here we are at the end of 2019. How will I respond to the seeming failure of the creative branch and what will I be doing to keep the organizing business going? You see, I am not one to dwell on my past failures. I have to keep moving, have to keep looking forward to the next thing. (Side note - That's probably what helps me work with clients who have made some mistakes, whether financial or otherwise. I can help them move past the past and start making better decisions now.) I have a great idea for an organizing app. Or, at least I think it's great! I'm going to be working on developing that. Of course, I’m going to be continuing with helping residential and business clients with their organizing needs. I'd like to focus more on financial coaching - so if anyone wants to help me really get that going by letting me help them, let me know! There may be a discount in it for you. 😉 For my creative site, I'm going to commit to posting one new photo a week to the website, whether they are photos I've previously taken, or something completely new. My issue was that I didn't have a plan when I created that site and I didn't have concrete goals. Oh, the value of goals! And - I WILL be releasing my 2nd edition Living Within Your Means book in January, along with an audio version. Lots to do! Better get to it - What plans have you made to better yourself or your business? Have you set goals around those plans? Let me know in the comments what you're thinking!
